PUDUCHERRY: President of the Puducherry unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party M.Visweswaran has asked the traders and fleet operators in the Union Territory to extend support to the bandh called by the party on May 2 to protest against the “wrong economic policies” of the Central government. In a statement issued here on Saturday, he said the increase in the price of the essential commodities had not only hit the consumers but it also the traders.
