BIDAR: Mahatma Gandhi Sahakara Sakkare Karkhane at Bhalki has settled dues of farmers who had supplied sugarcane to the factory till March 15. A press release from the factory issued here on Sunday said that Rs. 600 a tonne of sugarcane had been paid. The release asked registered farmers and members to harvest sugarcane and supply it to the factory without any delay. As on April 23, the factory had crushed 2,56,908 tonnes of sugarcane and produced 2,96,248 quintals of sugar.
