HUBLI: The Corps of Detectives (CoD) have filed a charge sheet against sixteen persons in connection with suspected terrorist activities. The police had initially named 12 persons as accused in the case,. They have now named sixteen persons as accused. S.S. Khot, CoD SP, submitted the charge sheet to the Judicial Magistrate First Class (First Court) S. Shrinivas in Hubli on Saturday. According to the charge sheet, the accused are Riyazuddin Nasir, Asadullah Abubakar, Mohammed Asif, Allah Baksh Yadawad, Syed Sadiq Sameer, Shakil Mali, Yahya Khan, Mirza Ahmed Baig, Hafiz Hussain Mulla, Adnan, Safdar Nagori, Shibli, Qamaruddin, Sadoli, Syed Nayeem and Mohammed Yasin. Judicial custodyThe charges have been framed against the accused under sections of the Indian Penal Code, provisions of the Prevention of Unlawful Activities Act, 1967, and the Explosives Substances Act. Seven of the accused are in judicial custody now. Officials of the Corps of Detectives have been given body warrant against five of the accused who were arrested in Indore.
