MANGALORE: Bangalore’s C.S. Santhosh (Team TVS) and local racer Sudeep Kotegar came to the fore in the opening round of Gulf Cup Dirt Track racing here on Sunday. Santhosh rode flawlessly to win Race 2 in Indian expert class, Group ‘A’ foreign motorcycles (up to 260cc, 2/ 4 stroke), as well as Rrace 1 and 2, Group ‘B’ motorcycles (up to 260 cc, 2/ 4 stroke) to pocket Rs. 9,000 for his efforts. The results: Indian expert class, Group ‘A’, Foreign motorcycles (up to 260cc, 2/4-stroke): Race 1: 1. Pradeep H.K., 2. Arvind K.P. 3. Natraj (all TVS); Race 2: 1. C.S. Santhosh 2. Pradeep H.K. 3.
