Two killed in wall collapse

NEW DELHI: Two persons including a minor boy were killed and two injured when a wall caved in on them at Alipur here on Sunday. The injured are stated to be in a stable condition.

The incident took place around 3-45 p.m. when Ram Milan (3), Radbind (5), Nand (16) and Kishori Ram (22) were trapped under the rubble of the wall. Six teams of fire-fighters were pressed into service for the rescue operation and the injured where rushed to a nearby hospital. Radbind and Kishori Ram were declared brought dead, while the other two were admitted to the hospital and have been kept under observation.

The local police have initiated investigations to fix the responsibility of the wall-collapse.
