Gold stolen

KOCHI: Robbers broke into the house of Shiny Antony at Nandananth Kochacko Road, Thammanam at 1 a.m. on Sunday and decamped with gold worth nine sovereigns. The Palarivattom Police said that they broke open the kitchen door and the door to the hall, threatened the inmates and made them hand over the gold.
