Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant, Union Home Minister, addressing the U.P. Merchants’ Chamber in Kanpur on April 27, said that there should be no conflict between the public and private sectors because “one drew strength from the other." The public sector was inevitable in any ideology but it should help its partner the private sector, and the aim was to secure fair play for all.
