KOLAR: More paramilitary forces will be deployed in all the six Assembly segments of the district to ensure free, fair and peaceful elections on May 10, the new Superintendent of Police Seemantkumar Singh said. Mr. Singh told presspersons here on Monday that more security forces besides police were being deployed to build confidence among the voters to exercise their franchise. Categorisation process of sensitive and hyper sensitive areas was under progress, he said. The police were carrying out seizure of weapons in the wake of elections, Mr. Singh said. Additional Superintendent of Police K. Yallappa was present. — Staff Correspondent
