Hair to stand in England-NZ series

LONDON: Umpire Darrell Hair will return to top-level cricket when he officiates in two Tests between England and New Zealand starting later this month.

The ICC said on Monday that Hair would partner Simon Taufel at the Old Trafford ground from May 23 to 27 in the second Test and Steve Bucknor in the third Test at Nottingham from June 5 to 9.

Taufel and Bucknor will umpire in the first Test at Lord’s from May 15. — AP
