NMIT emerges champion

Bangalore: Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT) emerged champion in the recent inter-collegiate hockey tournament. In the final, NMIT defeated Mangalore’s NMAMIT 3-1.

Earlier in the semifinals, NMIT defeated Mysore’s SJCE 1-0. NMIT’s P.C. Somanna and N.K. Bopanna won the ‘best player’ and ‘best goalkeeper’ awards respectively.
