Airports Authority makes final
NEW DELHI: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) refused to take the field against Airports Authority of India and the latter was awarded the match in the DSA institutional football super-league for the Chief Minister’s Cup at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Monday.
AIIMS was questioning the eligibility of the players in the opposite team, as it suspected that the team was not following the DSA rule that specified that only three players on stipend in each team, but did not take the option of playing under protest.
Thus, Airports Authority qualified for the final and will take on Central Secretariat. The other final will feature defending champion Food Corporation of India (FCI), North Zone against Delhi Audit.
