Living woman’s name in death register!

VIZIANAGARAM: Boggu Pentamma, 71, of 22nd ward in the town has been running from pillar to post for the last three months after the old-age pension she was receiving since March 2005 was stopped abruptly without a valid reason. Her last pension was paid on January 5 this year. Municipal officials are now trying to blame each other for the mistake. The woman submitted a memorandum to the Collector at Grievance Cell on Monday seeking restoration of pension. –Correspondent
