Monnet Ispat declares 25 % interim

CHENNAI: Monnet Ispat and Energy has achieved net sales of Rs. 380.64 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008, against Rs. 186.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal, an increase of 104 per cent. The net profit, after deferred taxation, stood at Rs. 57.20 crore against Rs. 42.79 crore, a growth of 34 per cent. The board has declared an interim dividend of 25 per cent for 2007-08, the record date being May 6.
