Former municipal vice-chairman dead

KASARAGOD: The former vice-chairman of the Kasaragod municipality K.R. Padmanabhan, 72, died at his house on the Nellikkunnu beach road on Tuesday. He is survived by his wife, Bharathi, and four children. Mr. Padmanabhan was a trustee of Mallikarjuna Temple in Kasaragod and the Nellikkunnu Sree Narayana Dharma Seva Sanghom.
