Man crushed to death by tanker lorry

TIRUVARUR: A tanker lorry laden with bitumen lost control and dashed against a few roadside shops including a hotel, a bicycle hire shop and a welding unit at Sannanallur near Nannilam in Tiruvarur district on Tuesday morning killing Tamizhmani (55), owner of the hire bicycle stand on the spot. The lorry was coming from Chennai to Tiruvarur when the accident occurred.Police have arrested Kamaraj, driver of the tanker lorry.
