Sirsi: Four more nomination papers were filed from Sirsi Assembly constituency on Tuesday, the last day for filing papers Ravindranth Naik filed nomination papers as the Congress candidate. Shanmukh Gowda filed nomination papers as a rebel Congress candidate. State unit general secretary of the Bahujan Samaj Party Ramanath Hegde and Nagaraj Narvekar of the Janata Dal (Secular) also filed their nomination papers. Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Bhemanna Naik of the Samajwadi Party filed their nomination papers on Friday and Monday, respectively, from the constituency.
