Back in mainstream: CPI (ML) activist M.A Srinivasan surrendering before AP Human Rights Commission Chairman Justice B. Subhashan Reddy in the presence of his mother and sister in Hyderabad on Tuesday. - HYDERABAD: Communist Party of India (Maoist) State committee member M.A. Srinivasan gave himself up before the State Human Rights’ Commission on Tuesday. A native of Sangareddy, Mr. Srinivasan joined the movement in 1985. He left the State in 1993 and had been operating in north India. ‘No cases’He submitted a declaration to SHRC chairman B. Subhashan Reddy in the morning urging the latter to “give him an opportunity” to earn his livelihood and live peacefully. “There are no cases pending against me in the State or elsewhere. I have submitted a declaration with the SHRC,” he told The Hindu. Srinivasan clarified that he had no political differences with the movement and that he had come out of the movement on his own due to personal and health reasons.” The SHRC chairman later issued orders that he be handed over to the Director-General of Police
