President arriving today

Thiruvananthapuram: President Pratibha Patil will arrive here on Wednesday afternoon for a two-day visit. She will go to the Raj Bhavan after the reception at the airport. She will inaugurate the valedictory of the golden jubilee celebrations of the Kerala Assembly in the evening. The President will inaugurate the birth centenary celebrations of the former Chief Minister and Congress leader R. Sankar in Tagore Theatre on Thursday morning. She will return to New Delhi in the afternoon. — Special Correspondent
