DCC campaign against LDF government

Thiruvananthapuram: The District Congress Committee (DCC) leadership, which met here on Tuesday, decided to organise a two-day campaign against price rise and breakdown of the law and order machinery in Kerala.

Mandalam congress committees will take out marches against the LDF government, DCC president V.S. Sivakumar said here.

Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Ramesh Chennithala will inaugurate the campaign on May 1 at Kodunganoor in Vattiyoorkavu panchayat. On May 3, Congress workers will take out rallies and stage an evening dharna to demand immediate steps to contain price rise. Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy inaugurated the meeting.
