Gawli held on extortion charge

MUMBAI: Mumbai Police have booked Maharashtra MLA Arun Gawli under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act for extorting money from builders.

This is the second time he is facing the stringent law. Earlier, the police had charged him under it but could not get him convicted.
