Gastroenteritis cases on the rise

BERHAMPUR: Gastro-enteritis cases are on the rise at Lochapada village on the outskirts of the city.

At least 25 persons were affected by the disease on Tuesday.

Around 20 of them were admitted in the MKCG Medical College Hospital while the rest were being treated in private hospitals of the city.

Consumption of contaminated drinking water and large number of marriage feasts is said to be the reason behind this outbreak gastro cases at the village.
