Chandru to campaign for BJP

BANGALORE: ‘Mukhya- mantri’ Chandru, MLC, on Monday said he would embark on a 22-day election tour in 47 constituencies in the State in a “ratha” and campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Chandru, a one-time dissident, said the BJP had accommodated 28 of his 40 demands in its manifesto, including those on protecting the State’s borders, Kannada and its river waters. — Special Correspondent
