Attack on KSEB office: four arrested

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police have arrested four Communist Party of India (Marxist) workers, including municipal councillor M. Premkumar, in connection with the attack on the Kerala State Electricity Board’s (KSEB) office at Thirumala on Monday.
The suspects, Madhusoodhanan, Roy Kumaran, Madhu and Premkumar, surrendered at the Poojappura police station.
They were produced before the court on charges of trespass, assault and destruction of public property.
The court remanded them to judicial custody for a period of 14 days.
The suspects had attacked the office accusing KSEB workers to failing to switch on street lights on time.
