More than 12,000 students from A.P. and neighbouring States to appear for the test Institute admits 125 students and reserves an additional 25 for those from rural areas HYDERABAD: Entrance test of Chukka Ramaiah institute will be held on May 4 from 8.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Osmania University College of Engineering, College of Technology and the Centre for Distance Education, Osmania University. More than 12,000 students from the State and neighbouring States are taking the test. Mr. Ramaiah said that test in mathematics paper would be held from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. and after that students would get a break of 30 minutes in which refreshments would be served by the organisers. The physics paper would be held from 11 a.m. to 12 noon and chemistry paper from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Those have not received hall-tickets can obtain them from the venue before the test. IIT model questionsMr. Ramaiah said asked the students not to get tensed up about the test as the paper would be based on 10th class books. All the questions would come from text books only. Though the questions would be of the IIT model, they would be doable. Mr. Ramaiah admits 125 students while an additional 25 seats are reserved for students from the rural areas. OBC quotaThis year 27 per cent of seats are being created in addition to be given to the Other Backward Classes (OBCs). Ten seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students in the 125 seats.
