VELLORE: The Minister for Education and Industries of the Sri Lankan Central Province, V. Radhakrishnan, visited the Lakshmi Narayani temple in Sripuram in Thirumalaikkodi near here on Wednesday. He spent about two hours going round the Lakshmi Narayani Temple and the Narayani Temple in the Narayani Peedam in Thirumalaikkodi. Later, he visited the Muthu Mandapam, containing the tombstone of Vikrama Raja Singhan, the last Tamil king who ruled Candy, and who was imprisoned by the British in the Vellore fort.
