All-party group meets President

Thiruvananthapuram: An all-party delegation led by Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan and Opposition leader Oommen Chandy met President Prathibha Patil on Wednesday evening and submitted a memorandum seeking a bench of the Kerala High Court in the State capital. Law Minister M. Vijayakumar told reporters that they had already petitioned the Governor and he had said that he would take up the issue with the President on behalf of the State.
