Two children drowned

VATSAVAI (Krishna dist): A six-year-old girl and an eight-year-old boy drowned in a well at Vemula Narva village near here on Wednesday.

The victims were identified as Tuduma Mounika and Totapalli Sharat, both residents of Vemula Narva village. The incident took place when the duo was playing in the farm fields in the afternoon. Mounika slipped into the well and in a bid to save her, Sharat ventured into the well and was drowned.
