Muthoot, Cordiant advances

PERINTHALMANNA: Muthoot ECC, Ernakulam, and Cordinat Sports Foundation entered the semifinals of the Dr. M.S. Nair memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the KCA stadium here on Wednesday.

Muthoot ECC made 150 for nine in its allotted 30 overs, chasing which Swantons was bundled out for 65 runs. Jiju Janardhanan scalped five.

Cordiant Sports Foundation entered the semifinal after its opponent, RBI Recreation Club, Thiruvananthapuram failed to turn up for the match.

The scores: Muthoot ECC 150 for nine in 30 overs bt Swantons CC 65 in 29.2 overs (Jiju Janardhanan five for 12).
