Summer camps

Hyderbad: City-based Confederation of Voluntary Associations is conducting month-long summer camps at various schools in the Old City from May 1. Named ‘Summer Camps for Child Empowerment’, the camps will have training in communication skills, personality development, and group discussions apart from sports, games, and creative activities. Children will also be imparted peace education.

Children’s Parliament is another nconcept to be introduced in the camp. For more details, one may contact 93983 15096 or 99661 89487.

Annual camp

The annual summer camp of Salar Jung Museum this year would commence from Thursday. Aspects pertaining to yoga, candle making, sketch line work, cartoon drawing, nirmal, worli, fabric painting, decopage, pot painting, college work, ice cream craft, calligraphy, mimicry and puppet would be trained from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, said a press release.
