Murder accused arrested

HYDERABAD: Mohd. Abdul Waseef Ameez, who had been evading the police for the past three years allegedly after committing a murder, was arrested by the Commissioner’s Task Force (North) officials on Wednesday.

Ameez, along with his elder brother M.A. Imran and four others attacked one Md. Riyaz who later died while undergoing treatment, according to a press release issued here on Wednesday.

On a tip-off, the Task Force officials picked him up at Shahalibanda and handed over him to the Lalaguda police for further action.
