Bund strengthening recommended

CHENNAI: A committee of experts constituted to study the problem concerning the bund of the Wellington reservoir in Cuddalore district submitted its report to the government on Wednesday. It proposed strengthening of the bund and allowing full storage of water in the reservoir. If implemented, farmers of Thittakudi and Vridhachalam taluks and 11,200 hectares of land would be benefited, an official release said. — Special Correspondent
