Sandeep Dikshit

NEW DELHI: A recently acquired British jet to train rookie pilots was damaged at the Bidar airport in Karnataka on Tuesday after the pilot aborted the take-off for a training mission, according to information reaching the Air Headquarters here.

The pilot aborted the take-off sensing a technical fault causing the aircraft to slide and hit a wall.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has ordered a court of inquiry to investigate the incident.
