All you wanted to know about the universe

Bangalore: If you are interested in the basic concepts of astronomy and astrophysics, want to know more about the sun and the solar system and the properties of stars, this might be just the course for you.

The M.P. Birla Institute of Fundamental Research is conducting a short-term course in astronomy and astrophysics for IIPU students, and for students who have just completed their PUC.

Galaxy

The courses will tell you all you want to know about the mysteries of the galaxy — the origin of the universe, the concept of dark matter and the possibilities of extra-terrestrial life.

Evening classes will be held from May 14 to 27, between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., at the Birla Institute.

Admissions

Admissions will be conducted on a first-come first- served basis, by May 10.
