Creating a new shopping experience at CP

NEW DELHI: Synonymous with colonial architecture, Connaught Place is set to flaunt a brand new luxury mall that will make it an interesting amalgam of the old and the new.

The plan to develop the new luxury mall complex on Kasturba Gandhi Marg has been unveiled by Parsvnath Developers Limited. Offering a mix of fashion, lifestyle and entertainment, the mall will showcase a host of international and Indian luxury brands across categories such as apparel, jewellery, accessories, home and electronics.

Parsvnath Developers Chairman Pradeep Jain says: “I feel getting a space for any activity in the heart of Delhi is a task and there surely was a need for such a development in Connaught Place. Although CP is known for its super mega shopping experience, we are confident that with the kind of development we plan to offer it will create a mark for itself with its distinctive design, architecture and a unique shopping experience. The mall will be a gallery of luxurious experiences in fashion, food, beauty and art and will consist of several dedicated zones.”

Making brand name

Mr. Jain says the real estate company intends to attract well-positioned luxury brands and thus create a brand of its own thereby maximising return to the footfalls. “It is not only about certain people and certain brands, it’s also what fits into the positioning that we are looking at. It’s no wonder then that luxury brands are making a beeline for India,” he adds.
