Arrested

TIRUCHENGODE: The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DV and AC) sleuths arrested the Deputy Commercial Tax Officer on graft charges here on Friday. The DV and AC sources said that Jayabharathi reportedly demanded Rs. 6,000 from a private company. The company officials preferred a complaint with the DV and AC. The personnel laid a trap and caught the official red handed.
