Killed

Krishnagiri: One person was killed and 12 others seriously injured when the lorry in which they were travelling overturned at Bargur near here on Friday. Police said that a group of 13 labourers were going from Vellore to Bangalore when the vehicle reportedly lost control and overturned after one of its tyres turned flat. Krishnan (45) of Sunambuparai sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The injured were admitted to the Krishnagiri Government Hospital. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
