Three killed in accident

Krishnagiri: Three farmers were killed and 15 others seriously injured when the mini tempo in which they were traveling overturned at Kuntharapalli near here on Friday.
Mishap
The deceased were identified as Chandran (34), Thimmarayan (55) and Usalappa (50) of Naranakuppam near Veppanapalli.
According to police the mishap occurred when the tempo laden with vegetables while trying to avoid hitting a tractor reportedly lost control and overturned.
Injured
The injured were admitted to the Krishnagiri Government Hospital. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
