Bangalore: With the process of finalising the list of the party candidates for the 224 seats of the State Assembly completed, the campaign by the Congress is picking up with senior leaders expected to visit the nook and corner of the State seeking votes from the people. Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president M. Mallikarjun Kharge told presspersons that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would address an election meeting in Bangalore on May 6. Congress president Sonia Gandhi would campaign in Krishnarajapuram, on the outskirts of the city, and Tumkur on May 7. — Special Correspondent
