Technical snag delays aircraft carrying Kerala Governor
A Correspondent
Nedumbassery: A technical snag in a Delhi-bound Indian aircraft forced Kerala Governor R.L. Bhatia along with 125 other passengers to disembark from the aircraft, seconds before its take-off at the Cochin international airport here on Friday.
The Thiruvananthapuram-Kochi-Delhi flight (IC 466) was about to take-off at 7.20 a.m. when the crew noticed a technical glitch at the engine side. The aircraft was soon returned to the parking bay from the runway.
The airport officials swung into action and all the passengers were shifted to another aircraft, which later departed at 10.40 a.m.
