Watery grave for three of a family

THENI: A woman committed suicide by throwing herself with her three daughters into a well at a private farm owing to a family dispute at Upparpatti near here on Friday.

Radhika (20) and her two daughters — six-year-old Lavanya and two-year-old Nivedha — met a watery grave. Another daughter, Menaka (9), clung to a creeper in the well and managed to float and was rescued by the local people.

Radhika, took the extreme step following a family dispute with her husband Varadarajan.

Fire services personnel removed the bodies to Government Hospital here for post mortem.
