4 killed, 9 injured in accident

AMBUR: Four persons were killed and nine others injured when a Tamil Nadu State transport bus bound for Chennai from Bangalore rammed into a stationary container lorry near the Ambur Cooperative Sugar Mills on Friday. Conductor Santhanam died on the spot. Soundarajan of Bangalore and Suresh Kumar of Maduravoyal died while being taken to the Government Hospital at Vellore. Parthiban of Arani succumbed to the injuries in the hospital.

The injured, including the driver, have been admitted to the hospital. — Staff Reporter
