Death condoled

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan on Friday condoled the death of former Minister C.M. Sundaram. Minister for Local Self-government Paloli Mohammed Kutty, in his condolence message, said Sundaram had the unique opportunity to work for the people both as a Minister and as an elected representative. Very few people knew that the former socialist leader was a prominent trade unionist also. Janata Dal (Secular) national secretary Varughese George said Sundaram was a prominent figure among socialist leaders. — Special Correspondent
