Staff Reporter

Drained: Fatigue hits some of the candidates who appeared for the 2.5 km run for selection as woman police constables.

ADILABAD: Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar on Friday said that the candidates who have absented themselves from the running test for selection as police constables can appear for the same on May 5.

He said the chance was being given to absentees because many of them seem to have missed the test for genuine reasons. For the 311 posts of civil, AR and woman constables the department issued 6,537 hall tickets.

On Friday running test was held for selecting woman constables. Of the 196 women who appeared, 120 qualified to enter the next round of selection.
