BANGALORE: Leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party units from Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will campaign here for the BJP candidates facing the Assembly polls in Karnataka and a joint committee of the leaders of the three States has been constituted for the purpose. The Kerala BJP State General Secretary, Radhakrishna Menon, and the general secretary of Andhra Pradesh BJP unit, Shantala Reddy, told presspersons here on Friday that they would campaign in the areas where people from their respective States resided and would appeal to them to vote the BJP to power. Ms. Reddy said that Karnataka had suffered due to unstable governments during the first 40 months of the coalition rule in the last Assembly. The State did not see much progress during the period. Despite the efforts of BJP leader B.S. Yeddyurappa in the second coalition, the State was unable to get the full benefit of the BJP policies. All the good work of the BJP was blocked by the Janata Dal (Secular) and it was the people of Karnataka who had lost, she added.
