Chandigarh: Sixteen candidates on Saturday filed their nomination papers on the penultimate day of filing of candidature for the May 22 by-election to three Assembly seats of Adampur, Gohana and Indri in Haryana. The by-poll for the three seats was necessitated due to the disqualification of sitting MLAs from Adampur, Gohana and Indri Bhajan Lal, Dharam Pal Malik and Rakesh Kamboj respectively under the anti-defection law.
