Emergency accident relief centre opened

Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: Parvathy Orthopaedic Hospital, Chromepet, on Friday opened an Emergency Accident Relief Centre at Kadamalaiputhur village on Grand Southern Trunk Road on Friday.

Chief Medical Officer S. Muthukumar said the centre would be manned by a trained staff nurse, helper and driver round-the-clock. “An ambulance would transport victims to the nearest government, private hospitals after the ‘golden hour’ treatment, free of cost,” he said.

Those who wish to use the facilities should dial 1073.
