18 injured in van,tractor collision

VILLUPURAM: Eighteen persons were injured in a van-tractor collision that occurred near Vanur on the Tindivanam-Puducherry road near here in the early hours on Saturday. The injured included 14 from Mumbai.

They have been admitted to the JIPMER Hospital in Puducherry. The police said that Atchaya Patil (34), along with his family members and friends, numbering 14, was travelling by the van. Both the vehicles were badly damaged in the impact.
