PUDUCHERRY: The search for a fisherman, who accidentally fell into the sea from a fishing boat off the Veerampattinam coast on Saturday morning, has not yielded any positive result.

According to the police, G. Yugadeepan (19), a resident of Nagooranthottam in Veerampattinam, and two others had set out on a fibreglass boat on Friday evening.

While returning at around 7.30 a.m, Yugadeepan fell into the sea. The Coast Guard conducted a search operation , the police said.
