Noted historian passes away

NEW DELHI: Noted historian Suhas Chakravarty passed away here on Saturday following a heart attack. He was 71. A former Head of the History Department at Delhi University, Prof. Chakravarty joined Tashkent University after his retirement in 2003 and served there for three years. He had also published several of his works.
