WASHINGTON: Nobel Peace Prize winner Nelson Mandela still figures on the U.S. terrorist watchlist and needs special permission to visit the country. . U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice had termed the situation “embarrassing,” and some members of Congress have vowed to fix it, USA Today reported.. Chairman of the House International Relations Committee Howard Berman is pushing a Bill that will remove current and former leaders of the African National Congress from the list. Supporters hope to get it passed before Mr. Mandela’s 90th birthday on July 18. — PTI
